Atheist Reads

As an atheist, I enjoy reading a variety of things, including non-fiction, but also fiction and the occasional overhyped newage wisdom/self-help book. But I seem to find it harder and harder to decied if a book is worth my time or not. 

I don't mind if a novel has religious references in it, or religious characters even, but if it's too much, taking away from the overall reading experience and possibility to enjoy a story, then it bothers me to no end. 

This is my attempt to document some of my impressions of books from this perspective in the hope tha maybe someone browsing one day after reviews of a certain book might find it useful.
